We have just weaned our 2009 drop calves ! The bull calves come home and into the yards for a bit of handling ( not that they need it being naturally quiet ) and hay.
The older bulls are getting ready to leave home and go to work.
If you can work out your bull requirements early it is more economical to buy bulls the season before you need them.Reason one they are cheaper and reason two, it gives them time to acclimatise to your locality.
